I think you'll find this is already been dibbsed by scoble
King, let me know when you're going to sell this, can I have first bagsy?

Shame about the stem... Needs a longer, straighter Thomson to match the seatpost

Yes, but headshock means stem choice is restricted.

Won't all 1.5" stems fit? Admittedly there's not as much choice as 1 1/8" but there's still a few out there (normally heavily reduced).

Indeed plus it is a Coda stem.

I think short stems look weird on bikes from this era, particularly ones with loads of rise.

Stem is period correct.
KC how much does this weigh?

I am not sure but I was surprised how light it was I don't think it was much more heavier than my Uncle John fully built I may try and weigh it tommorow.

I'm trying to talk my Dad into buying it, he's loved these since we started mountain biking when I was 11.

+1. n00bs! I really like this.
Looks like an F700 to me, probably mid 90s.

Looks like a Caad2 frame from the late 90s. A damn good frame, and very light too.
The later Caad 3 had a conical downtube (larger diameter towards the bottom bracket) and was even lighter. The Caad1 used a horizontal top tube I seem to recall.
If I sell my 1993 'dale M800 Beast of the East (for sale on this forum) I'd be tempted to buy it myself.

Hi
I think it'a about 22 garage is frozen so can't get at it
I know this is London fixed gear but hey this is a nice piece of kit.
I bought the frame and now built it into a really nice bike, all the running gear is xt and in great condition with little use I have taken time finding all the parts, the brake levers are XTR,the crank is XT the rear front mech XT changers XT 9 speed triple, and the brakes are XT with new pads I have has a brand new set of wheels built with deore hubs and Mavic 177 rims and put some Nobby nics on and a 9speed XT cassette, seatpost is a Thomson and bars are Easton carbon.
I was looking for about £350 for it if that is way out please let me know, the frame has been repainted and is mint and the headshock has had a service.
It,s a 19'' frame
It's not been ridden sinse I built it.
