It's been a while since I last looked but I think they'll strip & enamel a frame for about £115.
There is a place in Bristol that a few people have used for powdercoating, cheap but please don't! The frame is too English, and too nice for that kind of thing.
Bob Jackson will do an enamel for about £80 I think... but they're in Leeds.

Did I see you crash into a bus the other day in Broadmead?

The shame.
I can't comment, I once rear ended a Freelander coming off a roundabout in Birmingham without paying attention... that wasn't even brakeless.

yer you did, was inbetween two buses was riding with a friend who was behind he tried to pass me before we both went for the same gap, were both brakeless which no doubt will start a little debate but i don't give a fuck neither of us were seriously hurt looked a lot worse than it was i had a few broken spokes and my mate broke his forks! where did you see it from?

THat's a shitter - my rear-ending incident was a good few years ago when I had a pompino, those things are bomb-proof, as was my front wheel fortunately.

I was just walking along the pavement, saw your third mate that made the gap slow down stop and look round saying 'oh fuck', then saw the two of you dragging the bikes to the side of the road, was going to say hello but didn't seem like the right time! Glad you were both ok, I don't care how you ride as long as you enjoy it!

I thought I would just say Hi, and post my bike up on the forums. I am new to Bristol but not to single speed, finding all the hills a nice challenge and a change from home!
BTW This bike was just resprayed and rebuilt over Easter hence it been so clean, swapping it with my racing bike for commuting.

I saw you JamFactory going down Whiteladies past Dragons Kiss on Saturday...(no I wasn't drinking there, just dodging the chavs on the way past!). There was a girl riding in front of you on a blue Pashley.
Couldn't miss your bike really. It's disgustingly beautiful. I ride an old white frame with bullhorns, white chain and brown leather handles. Will post a photo up here once I get my new Halo Aerotrack rear wheel.

My ride:
I was gunna wait till I had totally pimped it out with a new stem before I poted pictures, but it seems I have no money so I can't afford a stem, so it will look like this for a while now! Had it since 2007, just got new wheels, seatpost & bars for it you see.
I work in Bath so mainly ride round there, holla if you see me!This is sick, really like the matte/purple combo

Cheers - yeah I know of Argos - however it seems a bit absurd to spend 3x the cost of the F+F on a paintjob, however good they are...
Nah just a single Vivitar 285 off camera and bounced off the white ceiling :)
