At least they might find the seam...

• #753
So will kev make it to a ton, or get to 99 and get out trying to hit the Cathedral?
-
• #754
a nice 100
-
• #755
very calm indeed, don't want to tempt fate but things are looking very good at the moment. When is the new ball due? or did they get it towards the end of yesterday?
-
• #756
i think they had 10 or so overs yesterday.
a nice bit of chin music there :-)
this live feed posted earlier is top quality almost as good as real tv -

Finally
-
• #758
350 for 3.
not a bad start i suppose.
the only worry is collingwood/bell haven't had much practice out in the middle -
• #759
Yeah but it's about time he gave them a chance, beside's he's a bit slow, we want to put enough runs on the board to declare later today..... rain and clouds on the way for the next few days.
-
• #760
So the game plan here, get a batsman that is trying to find form, just scored a hundred so you feed him boundaries? Be interesting to see how this plan works out ricky.

I am distraught about my country's cricket team.
"are you England in disguise" etc etc.
it's a fucking national disgrace.
-
• #762
Shouldn't let fielders wear shin pads, as close as you're comfortable with.... if you're not quick enough to catch it or get out of the way you're too close,
-
• #763
So i get it, Shane think Kev's got a bit of talent!
-
• #764
So it's tea time, im off to bed, just thinking when we will declare. Im thinking bell and pietersen to motor on and get as close to 650 as possible, then give the aussies 10 overs or so before close.
we shall see, bed time.

• #765
so what's this about targeting KP?
-
• #766
I know KP scored a double ton and all that but Ian Bell looked class. Doherty as a plan has been a flop so far. England as a side are just reponding so well. The boot is finally on the other foot for the minute and its fantastic. It looks like there is a difference in class between the sides - and its lubly.

I am distraught about my country's cricket team.
it's a fucking national disgrace. It's this attitude from the Aus fans and press that has contributed to the obvious tension and unease in the camp, instead of accepting that the team are not as good as they once were they constantly whinge as if there's some God given right to be best in the world without having the talent.
I endured years of watching a feeble england getting murdered by just about everyone, but I still supported them and hoped for the best.
The only national disgrace is the treatment Ponting and co. are getting from their loyal "fans"

Fucking rain.
I thought it never rained in Australia? what devilry is this?
-
• #769
Its that kind of attitude that kept the Poms in the fucking doldrums for 20 years.
Feel free to accept mediocrity.
-
• #770
Well actually it was the fact we weren't as good as the better teams and our selection process and coaching structure was ineffectual and outdated, but you can't force talent out of existing players if they haven't got it.
-
• #771
eats own young
-
• #772
Why don't they just let everyone have a go at bowling, like at school - more chance of getting a wicket surely.
-
• #773
Balki, I like the way you added "own"
-
• #774
"eats young" sounded a bit wrong.
-
• #775
On a serious note, you're all over us here. Our attack doesnt seem dangerous at all, but the likes of Cook, Bell, KP are looking absolutely confident. Think its selling them a bit short saying its because we are looking shaky.
So true.
