where'd you get the evidence for that Scoble?

A studies I read years ago when I was studying geographies, they stated that we're basically due for the next ice age (last one was approx 14,000 years ago), however recent studies says that the greenhouse gases and all the bell and whistle claim to 'delay' the ice age, apparenty (national geographic), so there's no defintes estimation.

Netherless we're due for the next ice age.

For some reason in the UK curriculum (at a secondary level at least), modern history stops at 1945.

I studied A Level history and although Neue Ostpolitik was covered BRIEFLY, it was about ten minutes in a seminar. I've certainly never seen a photograph of Brandt before.

I share your disillusionment Oliver, it's sad that it doesn't even get covered at A-levels.

You've got to remember, Oliver, a large majority of the British population do not consider themselves European.
In fact, the term 'European' was a considered a vicious insult and a terrible slur in England, right up to the year 1992.
