The Holdsworth got promoted above shopper bike duty for the day. Wish I'd put my spare cx tyres on, but turns out you can run gatorskins at 40 psi and get away with it.

Snow I can do, but the ice today was just bit much.

I think I spoke too soon, just came over the crest of a hill in the dark and the whole road was black ice! Safe to say I went down, pretty hard! Luckily no one was around to see haha. Take care on the roads people!
A little village called West Chiltington about 35/40 miles south of London, not far from Horsham and Dorking. It was really liberating, had loads of people telling me I'm stupid trying to ride about but I was one of the few to actually get about this morning which is liberating!
Rural...good work but bad luck on the spill!

Got to know your limits.
No point slithering half way to work and breaking your collar bone.
When the weather is better, ride twice as much.
That is your penance, my child...

Broken collar bones happen when you have time to throw an arm out.
On ice its all about the mashed hip. -

Been riding in London all week. Stick to the main roads and avoid your usual rat runs.
Car drivers seem to be lot nicer to cyclists when the conditions are like this.
I've been riding well into the road and keeping away from gutters. -

Nearly finished the Gazelle, the snow came at just the right time,
What an amazing view! Any chance of uploading it at even higher res? It would make a stunning desktop background!!!
