Phew! That was awesome. We had a small group of 6 - I think it was Dropout, conker, laner, vello, marcus, and myself. Somehow john guided us through the deserted streets of London with many wonderful sights. I think we had a more western route that the original but got plenty of christmas lights! Plus commentary on LFL's architecture...
We ended up at brick lane beigels for a snack at about 1ish, after cruising through the alleys and backstreets around St Pauls/bank. Highlights for me were the cyclo x down primrose hill and all the icy backstreets, and the barbican. And a nice small group - I think it would have been a nightmare with more than 10 or so.
But some skilled riding given all the ice and only one small spill (and one puncture). Big thanks to dropout for a great ride! It was awesome. I have no idea how he remembered that whole route...
