  • Knowing that you were going to write that before you did took all the fun out of it for me...

It also makes my reply of.. 'Actually, Im Spartacus' seem lame.

  • Thanks Tim. It's bad enough trying to remember everyones names of a Sunday let alone having to work out their alter egos as well.

  • Shall we try tarner tonite?

  • Tarner tonight, yes.

I will investigate the floodlight situation and we'll need to organise to get the wood and stuff up there.

Who's in? Meet at Cranks at 5.

    Should be good :)

  • Im in. Also i have about 40 meters of wood in my garden (which is really near tarner). We just need to sus out a decent way to fix it so it doesnt get smashed up by the local yoots

  • I'm not sure how we're gonna fix it up. Cable ties? or just propping it and taking away?

If we can't affix it securely then it defo will get smashed in.

  • Can't make it again today :(

    Thursdays suck

  • Just been down to tarner and its not looking good. Same things as last week, another poster from two days ago saying football was cancelled because of no lights.

  • I'm in

  • Longgg. What's the plan?

  • Snowy polo session at 2.

  • snolo

  • Thanks to 2 nice gas blokes in Lewes yesterday, I have 2 or 3 metres of yellow pipe if anyone needs any?

  • SERIOUS SUGGESTION: Anyone else not able to make it into work or college (shame!) tomorrow fancy an afternoon at preston park? Not sure how deep snow is in town, but I should be able to make it in with the land rover. I can bring a broom, spade, a couple of leaf blowers etc. If enough of us get stuck in it shouldn't take too much to make a court playable. Seeing as the lights @ Tarner seem permanently f**ked, any takers?

  • That sounds epic!

  • That would be one word for it. I think I might have underestimated the amount of snow. How is it in town? Got about a foot out here.

  • same in town and still snowing. Anyone got any spiked tires?

  • zip ties around the tyres DIY style. i recon it's doable.

  • So what's the general concencus? I'll be leaving for town soon. Hopefully we'll be able to get in?? I'll load bike, mallet, blowers, broom, spade...and I've got a ball. Can someone text me on 0seven9eight0 eight70one3two with a yes or no, times etc. Ta. Chris.

  • That sounds awesome, but thats a lot of snow to clear. if there are enough of us helping out and up for playing i'm in! If not we could always go to one of the many carparks, maybe marina as i doubt there will be cars or security there today..

  • Sorry, not been up long. Er, anyone who wants mallets can grab them, I have no ball due to the orange one splitting last week. My number is on this forum already.

  • Fingers crossed for a good polo day tomorrow. Weather looks ok.

I found my ball so we have at least one winter one.

    POLOPOLOPOLO!

  • I'm in. Obviously I'll be revising this decision if it starts raining again. Does anyone have a fistful of cable ties I could pinch? Made wheel discs for the front end see, but not going past a B&Q or owt on the way in.

  • I got some cable ties, I'l bring them along.

  • in. preston park?
