I'm actually glad we didn't win it as I'm fed up of our 'arts' funding in this country being enveloped for high profile bum kissing events like the Olympics. Not sure about Russia though... are they planning on changing their visa system? Not the most welcoming country in the world for foreign visitors. Quatar is such a 'Blatter' style host. Ikea stadia which will be shipped to poorer nations sounds good in principle but the host grounds will all be within a 16 mile radius. Might as well set up a principality called Fifaville and have the cup there every four years!
