the situation looks like this. the trade fair karlsruhe is offering only one court. a little bit bigger than last year as hannes said. as you all could see in the past last year, it will no longer be possible to play bigger tournaments with only one court. everybody who has been in karlsruhe last year knows that the surrounding is not really that spectacullar (for example we don't have a lake like geneva or something else you can spend your free time). everybody who's coming to any tournament wants to play as much as possible. (i don't speak fo l'equipe because they do play every tourney as much games as possible - damit).
so, if we again make the greifmasters with only one court, games will, or have to be limited to 8 minutes because on the other hand we like to invite as much peope as possible. for me it's importand to play as much as possible and keep the time between the games as short as possible.
hannes calculated, for example, that, if we are inviting 7 or 8 teams around europe and every team is playing every team 2 x 20 min. it could be 5 hrs something for each team to play.
