Wake Up To Muff

So guys that attend Souths may already be aware of this, but I run an event called Wake Up To Muff or WUTM for short.

Basically every 3 or 4 weeks i will wake up, bake a dozen muffins and deliver them around London to whoever has requested them, FOR FREE. And these aren't you everyday run of the mill muffins either. This weekend we are doing Sun dried tomato, oregano and parmesan muffin, some baller shit!

Anyway, thought I'd extend this to the forum because well, I've gained a lot from here since I joined. To get involved just join the group in the link above (you don't have to be my friend on fb to join the group). When I send out invites for muffins the first 12 people to respond get one delivered the following Sunday.

Oh and if you get a chance to do so, have a look at the pictures in the group. Half the reason I do it is to see people in such a dishelved state of affairs in the morning.

I don't know, i guess a combination of things:

I'd just got a new bike and wanted an excuse to cycle and lose weight
I was bored
I like baking muffins
Most normal people like eating muffins (I have a general mistrust for those who claim they don't)
I wanted to fulfil my faux messenger fantasies??????
Wanted to do something to make people happy for even a small part of their day. Most people feel low on Sunday mornings, the partying is over, work is looming, thought I'd deliver one last bit of joy.
I think the phrase might have come to me before I thought of it. Muff is rude but not vulgar, so I had to run with it somehow.
I was bored.

Most I ever do is about 40 miles, been as far South as Purley, West as Chiswick and North as Walthamsstow. Never really go East, don't know why? Start off in Streatham where I'm based.

I do 12 muffins, I would do more but as they are free I would end up spending more than I could afford. It would also mean more than I can comfortably carry without returning to pick up more. Tried 20 one week, wasn't too bad but think I'll stick to 12

I do the drops on my own. Have considered guest riders but I find it so much fun visiting everyone I'm a bit selfish about subcontracting.

Good idea. When my Nan came out of hospital the only thing she would eat was muffins

Excellent idea, save for the fact you'd have to chase me down in the middle of the Chilterns (or drag me out of a dodgy club/gutter) most Sundays. Have some rep!

Two muffins were sitting in an oven, and the first looks over to the second, and say, "man it's really hot in here". The second looks over at the first with a surprised look, and answers, "WHOA, a talking muffin!"

I have a friend who makes meat muffins. At first I was thoroughly disgusted, and now every Sunday morning with a hang over, I crave them.
