Hello! I am also new but I am afraid this is not my first post - I was too eager for winter cycling tips, got carried and failed to introduce myself first off! So, here goes: I am the short, female owner of one rather lovely, small Gitane racer (my latest purchase and currently with some very crunchy sounding gears) and a single speed Raleigh Misty rebuild, and am very excited to have joined lfgss!

Hi guys, I guess this is the thread for me. I finally registered yesterday after reading on here for a while.

Got my first SS, a second-hand, standard-ish Charge Plug last month. Got drawn to getting a SS just for their indestructability.

Anyway, cranking up the mileage on each ride. Only up to 15ish miles at the mo but I'm progressing.

Found this to be an invaluable forum and one of the best cycling ones on the web full-stop.
