Most brakers have newer type bumpers (late models were wider).

  • how hard would it be to convert a Hope pro 2 front disc hub to a rear fixed gear 120 spaced hub considering the reply below i received from the good people at velosolo:

Thank you for your email and interest in VeloSolo products.

Because the Hope hubs use proprietary axles with sealed cartridge bearings it is not possible to re-fit them with a threaded axle as with the Shimano hubs - we do not have a kit for these but some people have solved it by getting custom axles or spacers made.

  • i dont. but i just have to take a moment to big myself up a bit on account of having just returned from a blitz on TCR where i managed to haggle 70 squids off a tasty laptop for a chum.

  • how hard would it be to convert a Hope pro 2 front disc hub to a rear fixed gear 120 spaced hub

Pretty easy if you have a lathe, or know somebody who does. I think I'd use bolts to hold it in rather than nuts, although it would be just as possible to make adaptors to a standard 10mm axle so you could use track nuts.
