Wanted: URGENT!!!!!!! OS X 10.4 disc.

I'm desperately looking for a Tiger OS X operating system disc that would work on my powerbook g4.
Tried to restore it from the copy i have but it has some deep scratches and the installation quits near the very end.
Tried installing 10.5 but it wont take it.
Deadlines at uni are closer and closer...
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ps. Polishing a dvd with toothpaste to get rid off scratches- anyone tried that?

Bigben i think had a similar request, so try PMing him.

as for toothpaste, i wouldn't use it as it has a very slight grit. i found that the oil from the side of my nose works sometimes.

I checked but only have 10.3 sitting around... Lemme know if that's any good and I'll bring it up to Southwark tomorrow, Selim...

just found a 10.4 install disk in my box of mac stuff that you can have. i 'll be in clerkenwell from 3pm onwards, so you're welcome to collect.

i'm having this exact same problem.. can find loads of installers..just none for a G4... frustrating as hell.....! good luck...!!

once selim is done with his, perhaps you can get it from him? also, bigben will probably have a disk as well. pm him and ask if he's willing to part.

i'm in Manchester so not as easy as just borrowing it.... think i'm close to tracking one down now tho...
