I concur with all the "gear down" talk.

Spotted: only 3 other cyclists on my whole commute to work.
And me doing a large tailslide on some ice, catching it and feeling lucky.
Looked like a snowman by the time I arrived at work. -

Only saw two other s/s on the way in to work this morning - both Pearson Touches (one blue, one black), and only one of them was fixed.
I saw a fast woman on a beautiful Mercian in Balham last night. It was quite small - barely any head tube - and was a red (maroon?) colour with half-chromed rear triangle & chrome forks. No rear brake. I had to ride fair hard to catch up & find out what the frame was.

spotted a commuter quality fixed locked up outside victoria train station on the railings. Its been there the past few months, moves up and down the railings a bit, but always there.
Whole thing painted in black hammerite type paint with grit in it, result.... surface texture similar to 'anti-bill poster lampost paint' completly unstealably aweful, so I copied the idea.... -

undertaking is wack
5mins later I got into a barney with some twat who thought it was cool to undertake me at 20mph then give me the finger when I shouted after him... Doubt he'll ever be pulling that move again...
Good to see ya, D... Spin to win!

Me having an epic fail and loosing my D lock key after lunch at LMNH, currently en route back there with my spare set - you get some funny looks on the tube in waterproof trousers and sidis.
Many thanks to all the kind people at LMNH who helped me look for my key - especially Doktor P, who even offered me his bike for the afternoon!
Fingers crossed my gazelle is still there when I get back.

Souls have a way of not being seen, don't they? ;)

Digger and I got wet this morning. Ski goggles would have been wise.

No one on the roads apart from big vans not really looking where they're driving! My leg hurts. Riding home at 7pm when it will be snowing -2 and dark - not looking forward to that.

Could have been me on a black fixed touche.
Enjoyed the ride in this morning. Less looking forward to putting on wet clothes and re-venturing out in a bit.
Oh - and saw khornight this morning round Kennington.

Spotted ColnagoGirl™ on The Cut... I commented on how lovely the bike was (a Master) at the lights but only realised it was TheOriginalColnagoGirl™ when she headed towards Brixton... Lovely bicycle...

Yeah man, totally ruined my afternoon but alls well that ends well! You in tomorrow? I think i'm going to a book launch there in the evening..
do it - I pushed a vaguely epic ratio for 6 months out of pure laziness (couldn't be bothered to switch out cog/fit new chain) and I've seriously regretted it. Pretty consistent knee pain ever since
