Have you tried asking Mr Decals, Nick Tithecott? http://www.hlloydcycles.com/
He has lots of Carlton stuff on his list: http://www.hlloydcycles.com/PDFListMay09.pdf -

Cheers Turnpike. I'll try and get some better pics if you still want em. Might get a chance to do it tomorrow otherwise it'll be thursday.
Hi-Res = biggest file image I can make?Jonny - pictures hosted on photobucket (or similar free picture hosting site) the click the wee mountain image button above the message (insert image) and paste the URL that the image hosting site shows for the picture.
You might have to resize the image too. I'd do that on the hosting site. -

My dad bought me a Carlton Cyclone racer in 1980. Last May I used it to cycle from Nottingham to John O'Groats to buy a new mug.
Its still going strong after 30 years, so renovate yours and go on a long trip !

Right, now I see that this is all about single speed bikes, that could make a trip to John O'Groats a little longer.

Hi Guys, ive had a few vintage carltons. And ive come accross the Cylone name on other bikes before, but ive just picked up a very late Worksop carlton as a beater and its got sticky labels on it as a "carlton Cyclone". Its a low rent model with basic 5 speed spec but noone seems to have heard of this model. Its really pretty in mint metalic blue and although other models were famous like the Criterium from that period, theyve all got painted logos etc.i will try to add a couple of photos but i dont have the bucket/flicking thingy, anyone else had one.Quite heavy so i think the frames made of roofing lead but the rides smooth as a double glazing salesman.

Hello,
Have just bought myself an old Carlton Pro and cant seem to find much information about them.
I am guessing it dates to the late 1970's it has some (what I imagine to be) original Campag components, 170 strada Cranks, hubs, front mechanism not sure what group set they are? dont know how you tell?
Would like to return this bike to its original glory, and would like to replace the new components with old campag ones, just not sure which it would have had?!
Would appreciate any info anyone can give me on Carlton Pro's
Thanks,

This helps identify the components.
http://velobase.com/SearchBasic.aspx
And if you click the Mark Bulgier link here, there is a 1970 Carlton catalogue scan.
May help.
