Site says evans and other places will have them on the 20th, might pop along and try the trousers out. My jeans have got two massive holes in the crotch now, not a good look!

Tis good stuff. I'm pretty sure I heard it was designed by Nick Bayliss who used to co-own and design all the Royal Racing mtb cobber (excellent stuff too) and Nick Larsen (Charge Bikes)

Great - we need more of this stuff. More manufacturers need to wake up to the big market for stylish, practical but cheaper-than-rapha clobber!

picked up a pair of the shorts and trousers a few days ago.
The waterproofness of them is quite impressive, tested by pouring a glass of water on myself and not a drop got through! Really lightweight and comfy because of the stretchy material, any damp/sweaty bits from cycling in the heat seem to dry off very very quickly too.
Nice looking, similar to the cut of a pair of slim jeans, would go nicely with trainers or shoes if you need to look smart (I never need to look smart!)
The shorts have a couple extra touches like the two back pockets being zip close, which would have been a nice addition on the trousers, can't have everything!Good value I reckon, and they don't really look like cycling specific clothing at all, which is a plus in my book.

got the hoodie from evans for 59.99 and looks pretty good value for money. been looking around for a decent looking shoft shell jacket and everything was 100+ so very happy with my latest purchase. looks good on and off the bike, very breathable and light yet keeps you warm even when not cycling

I own both, the surface one is good for autumn and cold summer nights, and is very light.
Milwaulkee all the way for these temperatures though.and yes I did feel dirty shopping at Evans.

I bought a pair of the Surface trousers via an online retailer. Tried them on when they arrived and was told by my other half that they looked like trousers old ladies do aerobics in.
I returned them.

i've got a pair of the black trousers and like them. very comfortable to cycle in, and I can wear them in the office without negative comment. not very waterproof in my experience, but they dry quickly.
maybe you have the legs of an old lady, andyp? :P

I know you have them, seeing you wearing them at Muddy Hell made me think they were worth a punt. But I went for the grey ones and they really showed off my old lady legs so maybe I should have followed your lead and gone for the slimming black numbers.
:-)
yes all true. It's the trousers that I am interested in the most
