Pig skin is completely different to human skin, it reacts completely differently with the ink which often teaches budding tattooists bad technique, like digging in to deep and causing blowouts or scarring. The best way for a newbie inker is to tattoo themselves ie on their legs, then once a certain standard, confidence and health/safety is being adhered to then tattooing others in the next step. Wobbly lines can most of the time be fixed. Giving your skin to a friend to learn on is very admirable.
