Yeah, there were some controversial contributions to some of the answers.
Such as the number of men on a draughts boardSeriously. Whose idea was "16"?
-

I was wondering what could be so controversial about draughts that I looked it up to see if I was missing anything. Lo and behold Wikipedia tells me there is a game called “International Draughts” with a 10x10 board and 20 pieces each. Who sanctioned that? It's them blooming continentals foisting their metric whatnots on to us again, if god had intended us to count in base ten he'd have given us ten... oh.
I think I'll have to come along next week to boost the level of ignorance.
Seriously tho, what is the most popular drink in the world after water? Vimto must be up there, everybody loves Vimto right?

Surely it was Coke no?
-
• #6808
That's what I said, but it's actually Coffee... I think Coke is the most recognized brand name and hence why (yes it was me) said it.
So I lost the team 2 points (by my count)....

I would totally gone for tea as the most popular drink. go figure
-
• #6810
Hmm, I'd have said tea. Most of South / East Asia drinking huge amounts of it, etc.

Snap

• #6812
I probably drink more tea than many small islands do.
-
• #6813
I said coffee.
Maybe the Indians and Chinese are sick of tea, and are all to be found in Costa these days? -
• #6814
It really depends on one's cultural background. For me it would be vodka then.

My wife is so pissed off with Tesco stacking the Cool Aid boxes on the Caribbean shelf that she moves them to the Korean or Kosher section every time we visit.

I'm boring, working yet again. Sigh.

I won't make it this week as I'm off to have a Frankenstein injection. Next time you see me I will be new improved Shoosh (version no tbc). I've asked for an upgrade that cycles a bit more, wobbles a bit less and doesn't have the potty mouth.

Apologies for tomorrow. I failed to realise that it's already the first Wednesday of the month, which means Hackney Cyclists meeting for me.

Hey, but I'm not there... so you need to find someone who can answer questions about crap tv and who likes football.

Try to concentrate on getting the answers right this time. :)

I am full of useless information, sadly none of it about football or TV (I don't even have one).
Looking forward to the pizza though.
Yes, I am, but as of now I have no idea when I'll manage to set off. :(
