I was wondering what could be so controversial about draughts that I looked it up to see if I was missing anything. Lo and behold Wikipedia tells me there is a game called “International Draughts” with a 10x10 board and 20 pieces each. Who sanctioned that? It's them blooming continentals foisting their metric whatnots on to us again, if god had intended us to count in base ten he'd have given us ten... oh.

I think I'll have to come along next week to boost the level of ignorance.

spent a solid sunday there with some mates, all fixengers - ate pizza, too many pizzas, and drank merrily. i like that pub. hopefully i can make it wednesday.

My wife is so pissed off with Tesco stacking the Cool Aid boxes on the Caribbean shelf that she moves them to the Korean or Kosher section every time we visit.

I'm boring, working yet again. Sigh.

I won't make it this week as I'm off to have a Frankenstein injection. Next time you see me I will be new improved Shoosh (version no tbc). I've asked for an upgrade that cycles a bit more, wobbles a bit less and doesn't have the potty mouth.
