  • I thought I scored 2.. nvm

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you scored both in that first game too. I remember being scared shitless after that whenever you were heading towards me with the ball ;)

  • More like a bad ref committee

  • Committee votes -

Max - Fixture allowed on Tuesday, forfeit applied if not played then
    Pique -
Lockett - Fixture allowed on Tuesday, forfeit applied if not played then
Chukker - Fixture allowed on Tuesday, forfeit applied if not played then
Felix - Fixture allowed on Tuesday, forfeit applied if not played then

For what its worth i would have voted exactly the same way but as majority rules ...

  • i think nice touch josh is on it too right?

  • Spoons, my goal count so far this season is 14. What is yours?

nopeum i scored the opening goal mid collision, Sandy scored the second. Must have been in a different game

  • oh yeah, you are right, I remember that now, you two scored 1 each in the first game, and felix one in the third. No idea who scored your two in the second game though, I was tapping out :|

Enjoyable polo last night at Mitch; special thanks to the refs for facilitating.

Did anyone pick up my tool bag? It's a Thomson seatpost drawstring bag, cream. Contains – pump, emergency kit, allen keys, wrench & patches…

    Beer for the finder!

    BUMP! - no-one? :(

  • my second was our second in the second game. Everyone else was down.

  • i know the unofficial league committee are working on league site updates, but would it be possible to include number of leagues games played for each team to date in the results table (like last season).

  • Anyone cool to come down newington to ref our league game at 12?

  • im down...and earlyier!...get us a coffee!x

  • Raymond...you wanna meet us at Monmouth 11.30ish?

  • oooo closed sunday mate... i'll bring some. [Mathew]

  • Sick Zombie VS Pesky Skids @ Broadway 30/11/10

    Need a ref, anybody?

  • I'll come down. Goal ref for sure, but will do proper reffing if you can't get anyone else.

  • Okay, so supposed to be playing league game in -10 mins and my bike is locked with someone elses lock so bikeless and malletless. Anyone at Newington with either or both of the above I can borrow? Or alternatively boltcutters? Dickhead I know.

  • Cosmic vs JAH, 15-0 :(

Thanks for the game Cosmic. Sorry we didn't put up more of a fight. We weren't at our best today.

  • JAH vs Comsic

Conditions were generally quite good the only problem was a bit of low sun. Haz from JAH had turned up a bit late as his polo bike was locked up at London Bridge so happily Teenslain let Hax borrow his bikey (and swooped freewheel to fixed). Todd with a slightly injured wrist (insert wank joke here) and snoops with a fresh mallet got to work. Ref me, goal ref teeny.

    Game 1
0 - 5 to Cosmic (MAT, Snoops, Snoops, MAT, MAT)

Generally the JAH boys were holding the attack of Cosmic pretty well in the first few minutes. The attack rotation round the goals seemed to be opening up gaps and in all all truth i think the JAH boys only had 1 or 2 attacks. Cosmic had something to prove after their game against spring break i feel.

    Game 2
0 - 5 to Cosmic (Todd, Todd, Snoops, MAT, Todd)

The cosmic boys had started warming up and found how to pull the JAHs out of the D. Aiden of JAH had breaking issues so the apprehensive turns back to his own half would leave the keeper at times 3 against 1. Not ideal when the difference in GI is very noticeable. Passing and movement looked top notch from Cosmic.

    Game 3
0 - 5 to Cosmic (Snoops, MAT, MAT, MAT, Snoops)

In this game you could see the JAHs tiring slightly.
Josh being JAHs best player, having the most opportunities and the most shots on goal. Though Haz seemed to be stopping a few of Cosmics attacks... but yet again Cosmic roaming in the opponents half with a drifter on the halfway line to pick up any loose balls.

Anyway good work from the JAH boys and im sure they learnt a lot today.

    POLO!

ps. the other number is the minutes left.
