Not a patch on the original, but interesting to see how much Sonic Youth admitted to being influenced by 'The Fall'. They did a whole Peel session of Fall cover versions. This being one;

^^For my money, Sonic Youth succeeded in nothing more than making that track sound conventional and weak. Shows how strong the original is. Never heard it before mind. Impossible to cover The Fall though, so props for having a bash.
