Call me a corporate whore, but as i've found in my brief life its all about networking and using all the outlets you know. Theres never any harm in trying - you don't ask, you don't get.
Most large 'corporate' companies also don't tend to take on graduates on a short-term basis and certainly don't offer schemes designed for grads who wish to 'take a gap year' so its hard to find someone to take me on considering my proposition. I'm trying to appeal to perhaps the smaller firm who would genuinely benefit with another mind on board.
