The pedals are not included for "£750 quit" because they cost £150 quid alone and they are new.
If it had pedals would you buy it?!

Pedals are pretty personal especially on a road bike of this level, it is highly likely that anyone looking at buying a bike of this calibre would have such a preference to their pedals. Given that an extra pair of tyres is being included I would not see the lack of pedals as anything other than expected rather than stingey.
Real shame about the rear stays, but with the black decals it would look mint. I remember someone doing a similar thing with a Bridgestone in current projects a while back, was dope.
Good luck, and to the buyer i am proper jeal!It was boon's bike in current projects, but the photos are no longer showing up.

Hi, I have a friend who is quite interested in this bike, depending upon how much shipping to melbourne Australia would cost. Let me know.
Cheers

God that's really really nice! Pity I'm a) skint and b) too tall for it... Makes me want something like this though! Once the paint is shagged on my Koga Miyata it might get a stealth treatment!

This was as close to my dream road bike as I could get.
***Story behind the frame and the colour...
****About 6 months ago before it was resprayed, a friend of mine was riding the bike and his wool hat fell out of his back pocket and got mangled by the rear mech, in turn twisting the mech up and bending the mech hanger on the frame.
As we were 40 miles from any where we had to do what we could to get back on the road to get home... Using my knowledge gained from Ted (who builds frames for a living and whom I also lived with for 6 years) I proceeded to bend the mech hanger straight whilst holding on to both stays and the mech securely. This did the job perfectly and we rode home.
Next day I took the frame to Ted to have a look at and we noticed a small crack on the left hand rear seat stay, just below the plug in at the top.
Ted advised that it be replaced...
So I rang my friends at Cinelli and asked the expert about re-chroming a 1984 Columbus SLX frame. They said don't! It makes the tubing too thin.
The new replaced seat stay ruined the chrome on the rear and the new mech hanger/dropout chroming was ruined as well.
It was impossible to restore the frame to it's former glory.
I chose to paint it matte black to make it less conspicuous and it does!
(the plan was to get some black Cinelli decals made up for it, so it looks the part)
*The frame has been expertly repaired under the consultation of Cinelli, using a new old stock Columbus SLX rear seat stay.
It rides beautifully and responsively, and the gears and brakes are tuned as responsively/sharp as they should be) everything is in tip top condition/working order (some parts have a few scratches due to usage)
I'm looking for around £SOLD for the whole bike (Pedals are not included)
More images if anyone is even remotely interested...
