Mudguards and tight clearances

As for the rear, I would try just chopping parts of the guard out, rather than into two pieces, so you just have a narrow section around the bridge area, and fashion a modification/alternative to the bridge hanger thing.

I've done that too, but it seriously weakens the gaurd and failed, but it did take about a year to fail.

@tommy only got them on the Mercian these days. That road/path got flogged a while back.
