Given that the London Cycle show tourney is unfortunately not going forward is it an idea to hold this around the new year.

Or is my self interest a little too scantily clad.

Any day after christmas, preferably a weekend or public holiday.

NYE polo tourney

Is the floor in that hall wood? Are we likely to make big holes in it with our pedals, bars, levers etc when we come off?

Ha, good point. I've seen chunks of court surface go flying from mallets alone.

That being said, they played on wood in Madison at the NYE thing a couple of years ago, no?

I was more thinking of the organiser ending up with big fat bill for damage to the floor.

I figured. My point was, if it worked out okay in Madison, it's a good sign that the floors may be robust enough to deal with it.

I could ask about other dates in the new year, but so far we have around 8 people who are into this idea, if no one else is interested, i'm just not going to bother.

If its shit i can chase up bisley about dates, and try to organise something there, on a bit of a bigger scale, inviting euros (city vs city bench minor?!!!!!?)
