Given that the London Cycle show tourney is unfortunately not going forward is it an idea to hold this around the new year.
Or is my self interest a little too scantily clad.

Is the floor in that hall wood? Are we likely to make big holes in it with our pedals, bars, levers etc when we come off?
-

Ha, good point. I've seen chunks of court surface go flying from mallets alone.
That being said, they played on wood in Madison at the NYE thing a couple of years ago, no?

I was more thinking of the organiser ending up with big fat bill for damage to the floor.
-

I figured. My point was, if it worked out okay in Madison, it's a good sign that the floors may be robust enough to deal with it.

Well, who knows, i think it would probably be ok (most people are clipless/plastic pedals these days anyway)
I could ask about other dates in the new year, but so far we have around 8 people who are into this idea, if no one else is interested, i'm just not going to bother.

Max, explain the guys at the place, that to get the money you need 40 players, that otherwise it will be too expensive.
Then make this more open to the rest of Europa, 5 teams, 8 players per team.
Captain, drafts, the whole thing like in Paris.
the guys from the place dont need to know if it is a tourney or not -

Is this battersea? I don't know how good the space would be but maybe I memory is shitted. But if it's good I would be in for helping. I think bisely would be better for indoor.

I'm fully into this, whenever it happens. You need help, let me know. I can pop down to Battersea to check out the surface easy enough.

If you could go down and check it out that would be awesome!
If its shit i can chase up bisley about dates, and try to organise something there, on a bit of a bigger scale, inviting euros (city vs city bench minor?!!!!!?)
