Replaced my worn front 23C Rubino Pro with a 25C Conti GP 4 Season the other day, after a hairy moment riding downhill in the wind and rain last week. Have to say, it doesn't feel like they're any better on slippery stuff like cobbles or painted lines (although I have no desire to "test" where the limit of the grip is). Expensive too.
I am a fan of the GP4000S, mind. They are great in fast downhill cornering (on the road bike) and they wear well.
