Hi Sam,
Is the Chris Marshall frame I have here any good to you? http://www.lfgss.com/thread55236.html
My girlfriend wants to have a go at a bit of lightweight (pretty much just a credit-card and toolkit) touring with me, and I'm going to get a bike put together, but it's probably just a fad, and I'm pretty skint, so I'm not going to spend too much building the bike up (as her christmas present).
She's 6ft tall, so a 58cm frame should be about right, but because of lady-proportions, a 56cm might be better. Also, I have a pair of threaded forks that would fit most 56cm frames with a horizontal toptube.
As it's not going to be setup for carrying much, a racing frame would be fine, but a touring frame would obviously be ideal. I'm probably going to get the frame resprayed, so cosmetic condition isn't important, as long as it's structurally solid, and not made of gas-pipe. I've got a pair of 130mm 32 hole hubs as well, so some 32 hole 700c rims to suit 28-32c tyres would be excellent.
Any other bits like a nice ladies touring saddle would be nice.
Please pm me if you've got anything that might be relevant.
Thanks,
Sam
