If anyone is thinking about doing the Kent I route at weekends, Botsom Lane (the left turn off the A20 main road) is closed for a good few weeks. The diversion keeps you on the A20 for another couple of miles, just past Brands Hatch before doing a left.
For fun, stay on the main road all the way to the bottom of Death Hill, then do a left signposted Eynsford/Otford.
Rode to work this morning, the top of Wrotham/Exedown Hill with a headwind at 6:30am is not a lot of fun.....
