I have the exact same set (Race 2 and redeye), the redeye is alarming bright, but the mounting is severally limited (velcro'ed to the seatpost).

is there any other method to fasten the redeye to the seatpost? cause I lost the velcro to the redeye and don't want to make another one.

ed, did you find another method of attaching your Redeye to the bike?
