sorry, from my point of view this date is cancelled. i've been trying to come up with a modified route that isn't just a completely different one which it would have to be if the ride is done around midnight. if we wanted to do a lot of the nice elements of the ride we'd have to get greenwich tunnel in, which would mean we'd have to start around 7pm. Traffic, kids hanging around, people in pubs and commuters getting home isn't what this is supposed to be about and once the tunnel's closed for the night the route is effectively unworkable.
sorry if i've disappointed people but as i said a couple of weeks ago there were problems. i'm also suffering from back pain at the moment and it's making everything seem fairly shit. me getting out there late at night to ride round the south and west looking for alternatives just hasn't been happening and though it only takes a couple of good nights to sort a route out with my back giving me shit i'm not even sure i would be ready for next week at this rate.
of course someone could just take everyone for a ride somewhere based on this list. i'm still in two minds about it but i figure I'd better say something now before it gets too late in the day.
