You could always do what I did which was to buy from my LBS, use it the once, then sell it the next day for a small loss. That way it cost me about £6 to lovingly remove my BB instead of a non-emotional affair by the LBS - bikes have feelings you know! On the other hand, you may like the aesthetic appeal and feel of the tool so much, you may want to keep it along with the rest of the stuff we never get to use again but keep it just in case :-)
Got one of these for sale. Bought it yesterday to remove my Miche bottom bracket ready for an SRAM Omnium install. I don't have any further need for it so might as well get rid.
