Looks more slate blue/grey and white than dark grey and light grey? Also Fizik bar-tape?
Just saying...

Hi, thanks for the tip Rob, but unfortunately that's not the same bike. The paint job is different - the missing bike's paint matches the one in the photo, and also the fizik bar tape as VanUden says, also he is right to say it is more slate blue/grey than grey/grey.

Sorry to hear about that, Albert--like your bike parking arrangement, though. Good luck.

Thanks Oliver.
Down to Bricklane tomorrow I guess. I also had a pitlock on the front wheel - Ha !

Is this anyone's? Looks really dodgy £1 Trek Top Fuel:
-
• #5508
Pretty specific on cassette and crank length, I'd say that was just a £1 typo or to get people to ring him rather than being sketchy.

Albert, was this a shared stairway, or someone broke into your house and cleared these ?
Bad news either way -

Thanks Oliver.

Hey Sol, Yeah a shared Stairway -not a big apt block, just a small house with a few flats.
1 other bike gone too it seems, from a neighbour. Thanks for that Oliver, (same road), seems to be a growing problem in Hackney. I emailed Mez, so he can keep his eyes peeled. Fingers crossed !

my black Brompton S2 (the flat-bar two-speed model) just got nicked from outside the Brazilian consulate (off Oxford St). It has distinctive bright orange bar grips and a knog sticker on the frame. thieves used a wooden packing crate to hide from the street and cut through my Kryptonite fag lock. if anyone spots a likely candidate please let me know.
3.5 years in London with nothing stolen - and now it's finally happened. Fuckers.

Oof, cutting a Fagh in broad daylight (well, dim cloudy daylight)? Total fuckers.

sweet gentle jesus - seriously? that's just mental. sorry for your loss hoss, and sorry to hear that Richard Dean Anderson clearly has some habits he needs to support.

Blimey, if you can cut through a Fagh in broad daylight on Oxford Street, is there really any points in buying a lock at all??
-
• #5520
Is this the first report of a Fahg being cut through?

I rang in the hope it could be mine... sadly not.

i say "cut" - i don't actually know how it was defeated because not a trace of the lock or bike was left (apart from the wooden pallet).

• #5523
You weren't locked to a sign post were you? Definitely a closed piece of metal?
(It still stings)

Yes, obviously. But feel free to give all of yours to me.

Shit news badtmy, really sorry to hear it. But calm down people, we don't know it was cut! In fact if it had been it would have made more sense for the thieves to just leave the lock there.
That looks like a good spot Rob, fits the description and in the right area....
