  • Well I find some of your remarks upthread seriously immature.

I mention taking advice, as testers opinions and advice are valued here. If at times taken with a pinch of salt.

Having spent time on the forum, you would also find that items generally sell at a lower price here than elsewhere, which is why one may not advertise here as well as on other sites or ebay. This is a good thing, as parts change hands between members at affordable rates. At times even for free!!

I don't think Nowhere Fast needs you to stick up for him, and also, he may eventually find the ignore feature, which enables you to block the posts of anyone you would rather not hear from.

Like you, sir, are soon to become the sole member on my ignore list.

  • realy apreciate that kinetic, real nice to find some one nice on here for change, once my bike is sold ill hapily never use this site again, you are all pretty much bullys hiding behind usernames, not very impressive

  • I have not given any advice, apart from refer Nowhere fast to Pinkbike.com...
I am willing to pay £300 for this bike regardless of the people on here trying to ruin his sale.

Its been on sale at Pinkbike for over a week http://www.pinkbike.com/buysell/744909/ ?

Don't take the negative comments to heart Nowwhere, they're just messing around. If your really stuck and need top dollar try Retrobike or ebay aswell, from the 'op' it seems as though you really need to get rid of the bike due to some pretty bad circumstances so good luck and don't get to worried about a few folks pulling you leg.

  • Yus, somewhere along that timeline, you all need to get a life and stop trolling and ruining someones sale..One thing I've learnt as a mod is....

If Pinkbike is so fucking great why don't you fuck off back there?

    Thanks.

  • I am 38 years old sir, I have not given any advice, apart from refer Nowhere fast to Pinkbike.com...why? Because we don't tolerate crap like this site seems to do, we have brief words, suspend or ban users who give grief like mdcc_tester, Nowhere Fast is clearly dyslexic no need to nitpick spelling mistakes.
I am willing to pay £300 for this bike regardless of the people on here trying to ruin his sale.

How come your profile has your age as 24 then?

  • 24 is not kinetics age,its his IQ.kinetic dont come in here telling this forum how it should be run..we have 2 brilliant mods/members on here the WISE one and the FAT one both have access to warming up the BAN button.this thread is tame compared to some of them.kinetic please buy the orbit then kindly fuck off back to pinkbike and never darken this forums door again

  • please can someone inform me who the site founder is please?

    utfs.

  • Sorry, who said he /she was dyslexic?

Do you have the skills to diagnose?

  • Yes, he's a MOD on pinkbike.

  • Kinetic,

has this been the only thread you have read in this forum?
    if yes, you epic fail

will you judge a completly forum for just one thread?
if yes, you are a narrow minded individual

Have you read some other post from md_cc, apart from this thread?
if not, you should, the guy is a fucking encyclopedia with legs and arms...

Have you find the moderators yet?
if not, I dont know if belive you that you are moderator yourself, its not rocket science, this forum is a delight to navigate, and to find a list of people id not that difficult

Is Pinkbike a forum where you can not express publicly you desagrement with the price on a sale or to criticised the seller?
if yes, fuck that, give me a place when I can say what I want (within a limits) like in this forum

    Is Nowhere fast your boyfriend?
if yes, now everything makes perfect sense and all this question are unnecessary

Close the door from the outside in your way out, please

  • Calling wiganwill. The voice of raisins. ;)

  • My son is dyslexic. Careless spelling and a lack of punctuation does not mean the writer is dyslexic.

  • Please can someone inform me who the site founder is please?

I am a moderator on Pinkbike.com, Not all of you but some of you have no life, I've reported your posts for flaming and trolling to whoever is in charge. Nowhere Fast you should join Velospace and Pinkbike.com we're a friendly bucnh on there who deal with people like this everyday.

You are very amusing. Hello, I'm the founder, owner, thingy.

You've been on LFGSS for less than 5 days. On here you're a n00b too, so before you yourself continue trolling (everyone is feeding you... don't you see?) some words of advice.

So, first thing first: On LFGSS anyone can say anything. Really, it's their words and only reflects on them. I will ban spammers and the very worst trolls, but shy of that there are few to no limitations outside of the legal stuff we have to do... nothing on this thread comes close.

Next up: mdcc_tester is funny, that first post was amusing. Perhaps if you weren't so serious you'd have seen that.

His points on the pricing of the bike are very accurate and hit the nail on the head... the seller doesn't have to listen and may sell it at his target price anyway, but mdcc_tester was doing a good thing by breaking down why the target price was too high and what the real price should be. mdcc_tester put some time to explain, and if the seller listened he would shift the bike. The seller's back was already out of place, but mdcc_tester did a fine thing explaining it.

It should be noted, the seller may get the target price on eBay (fools and their money), but on LFGSS where people are largely in the know... it's unlikely. Most of us are keen buyers and sellers and a lot of stuff passes through our hands... we're spot on with pricing stuff.

Anyhow, not much more to say. Tangential stuff happens on every forum and happens on sale threads too, there's nowt wrong with it. People are free to largely do what they want, I'm not a censor.

I've added a tl;dr bit to the rules because I'm not sure you read them, here I'll quote that bit:

    tl:dr Summary of the rules.

And on things like defamation, hate, etc... I mean legal definitions of, in which case unless I'm feeling narked I'm going to be waiting on court summons to do stuff. This forum is as open as you'll ever find shy of 4chan and b3ta... it happens to be about bikes too.

  • This has taken on a life of its own now, so I can just sit back and watch after giving one final piece of advice; paint it Gorgeous Baby Blue™ if you want to sell it fast, nobody can resist that colour.

  • I am a moderator on Pinkbike.com

No you are not. Check the 'contacts' page.

In fact, 'Kinetic' and 'Nowhere Fast' are Pinkbike pals and surely 'Kinetic' showing interest in a bike which he has no intention of buying hoping to generate an impulse buy from someone who would otherwise given the sale greater consideration is unfair by all sorts of trading rules. You are effectively attempting to up the value - if demand is greater, value increases.

Secondly, directing people towards Pinkbike as though it is a sanctuary from idiots is utter rubbish; just the other night, the 'active board' was spammed up with some maniac banging on about how her boyfriend is a selfish so-and-so and airing all types of personal stuff. Reminded me why I don't bother with posting there.

Truth is, the bike is ok. If you like it, test ride it, perhaps open your wallet; if not, leave it the heck alone.

    I'm done,

    Peace.

  • I'm done.
    Ha - priceless.

    Repped.

    WAC.

  • Links to boyfriend rant?

    Sounds fucking good over there.

  • Loving the link back.
