Would fit perfectly in the "current projects" thread. -

Brilliant buy, especially a Cross-check, one of my favourite Surly.
still peeved that none of the Surly fit me.

How come none of them fit you?

Tt length's too long, even if I choose the one with the idea TT length (roughly 54cm), it'll be too small by 52cm (I need at least 57cm ST).

Hey, you could do that with a longer seat post, rising stem and enough stack spacers.
I have a conventional frame size of approx. 59cm c/t, but rode CX bikes with 50 cm frame without any problem. -

Nice blue Gijs van Tuyl without decals.
And good luck with the internal cable routing. Hope for you that you are not going to use indexed shifting. -

I know the seller, he practically lives around the corner and has been a bike nut/professional mechanic for many years. I'm sure I'll be able to work out what gearing systems best fit.

Gijs sold these frames in the beginning of the carbon era, 1990-1995.
Friend of mine has had a couple of these C4.
Not 100% satisfied, but he had a good relationship with Gijs, so it worked out quite well.
But adjustment of 8spd STI. It was a nightmare if you had no clue, no tools and no spare parts.
Al least, try to run teflon liners front to rear in case you're going to use brifters. -

What would be extra nice: a Festina jubilee watch 25 years Dura Ace.
Initial plan of Shimano was to supply a Festina with the group (Lotus/Festina was one of the teams riding with Dura Ace those days), but all of a sudden, soigneur Willy Voet was caught at the French border with some drugs in the trunk of his car.
That's how Seiko got into the picture. -

New light touring bike :)
Figure it's not a bad deal seeing as the frame was new in March, full 105 groupset, Open Pro wheels etc - probably about £1000 all together brand new.
