thanks for the support, having played polo for only a month, and having no one with any experiance of polo at all it was inevitable that we would be thrashed by los conos. im the only person who owned a fixed gear when we began and no one else had ever riden one. i accept that this doesnt really fit with certain cultural cliches that are associated with bike polo but i can guarantee that everyone from heythrop had a great time. we were pleasently overwhelmed by the friendly and open attitudes of the experianced riders and seeing how its really done just inspired us to play more. i think joe walsh deserves credit for starting the uni polo team and entering us into the league a month later. as it turns out this wasnt a disaster.
rik, youll be glad to know ill be building anther bike bike soon. just when i thought i had enough.
