  • I'm making a new soup today. Parsnip and ginger.
    I sauteed oinions and garlic in the base, then added half the parsnip and cooked til golden. The added the remaining parsnip, the chunks of ginger a nutmeg a sprig of thyme and some homemade stock. Its now simmering for an hour. Then I'll remove the ginger and nutmeg and puree the rest.
    It already smells really nice... can't wait.
