Change of Career advice and help

Have your wonderings cast any light on this? Is it an unreasonable expectation to seek job satisfaction? Should people be miserable most of the time as long as it pays the bills?

Have wondered alot. Its not unreasonable, but from people I know and personal experience the moment it becomes work its no longer fun. Work is a means to a financial end to me, its probably me thats wrong but its what I feel.
