0 Degree Pop Up Polo!

*Get yer mittens and thermals on... Advanced notice of this winter's coolest polo series... *

**Format: **

• games will ONLY take place when the temperature is 0 degrees or below and can be on any evening of the week (except Powerhouse Thursdays and Saturdays)
  
• games will always be indoor car parks (usually BBC level 4)
  
• players notified of times of play/venue via MMS on the day only
  
• they must assemble with their teams and arrive ready to play a best of three match series against their mystery opponents (they may not know who there opponents will be until arrival)
  
• more than two teams will be notified on each day to increase the probability of matches taking place. Team confirmations required by 6.30pm latest. Matches usually to start 8.30pm.
  
• game format 12 mins or first to 6, all 3 matches must be played (goals scored and against recorded for series)
  
• overall team tourney scores will be posted as we go
  
• tourney will run from December through February.
  
  

Why? Cos although Powerhouse is cool, it's a wee bit pipe and slippers! Time to bring back the random, bring back the dog unit, bring back the frustration and the cold....!

I dont agree with you there bud, IMO Mr.k's plan is very flexible. it allows any team to challenge another across the city and will result in a league ranking and a whole lotta fun.
you are suggesting removing the whole week of possibilties to a fixed 5 hour window, i cant disagree more with your dumb opinion. No way is this going to bend over backwards for you.

whoaa there paul! think that's a bit harsh there mate, it does completely disagree with the format but i agree that the randomness is a bit off putting... i for one can't guarantee that i'll be free every single night, even if it is for just a few games. and i wouldn't be happy about entering a tourney if missing one night lost me points. like the idea of getting some kinda league going, and playing in the carpark again, just not random n shit.

I agree with Ste, I don't have any evenigns free unless i booke them off work a week in advance, so knowing what day we are playing would be good, i wouldn't be able to play in a legaue that is held on random days

oklooks like ASBO's out, il play as a sub on the days i can make it if thats ok with everyone
