I'm sure there might be an argument to say that the process of colouring the spokes might weaken them. But I think it's bollocks.
Re silver spokes, they're cheaper, but imo with brown an all back wheelset will look better. White, its moot. If it was black, silver or a bright colour then silver spokes look cool.
