  • There were discussions with the residents because they were not happy with us there all the time. I think Hops and possibly some others placated this by saying that we'll keep it to a minimum. It's not so much about the kids not being able to use the courts.
    They're ok with occasional sessions there (i.e league games) but I think they would take a dim view to polo there on a few occasions on a regular basis.
    It was them (we think) that sabotaged the lights in the first place so we try not to piss them off too much.

    And as Skoota said, as league games should not interfere with regular throw-in's, we need to utilise the limited available court space (esp in the South) for these.

    This is my understanding of it all.

    The LHBPA are looking in how best to run the beginners sessions next year when I've gone.
