kenda kwick trax are very good, but tricky to get hold of in the UK I believe. my mrs has been using them (32c) for the last year and despite the fact she seems to be a glass magnet has only punctured once.
I'm running 32c vitorria randonnuers front and back and am happy with them. seem to be grippy enough, were a pain to get on though.
