Hmm...good info. I assumed it was five speed b/c the levers I've got seem to be five speed. However, they might not be original. There's an 8 speed cassette on it right now but the original 600 hub got broken somehow and I don't know if it's fixable. Should check that out, as I have it.
God, there's too much to know about this stuff! I said tricolor b/c I saw that mentioned somewhere when I looked everything up and remembered that there were those three bands of color. So, I can't find a groupset designation on the front derailleur but the rear Ultegra. So while the other bits say 600, it may still be original to the set? Wouldn't the hubs and rear derailleur have the same groupset markings if original? stem and seatpost on the bike are not 600.
