I'm building up a down and dirty beater - Just about to buy a SS freewheel and chain to finish it off
Chainlines not great, chainring is as far inboard i can get without it hitting the chainstays. The rear wheel is a hybrid one, I'ts got very little dish in it allready but I don't want to re-dish it because A it's a ballache and B I don't think the spokes are long enough to dish it as far as i need to and C the nipples are rusty
So - Would using a 3/32 chain for a bit more flexibility help, and would using a recycled deraileur as a ghetto chain tensioner help with the chainline issues - I was thinking it might make it run a little straighter coming off the sprocket.
