  • just had to quote this MEGA LOL!

OK, so they look like dickheads but they've just busted into Tory party HQ through the window. I say bravo. Look at the one on the left, he's smoking a cigarette. Indoors. Imagine the Maoist state uniform if these motivated trend conscious young bucks seized power.

  • its cute when rich kids break a window or two and think they are changing the wold.

Do you think they are protesting against something which is unreasonable? What would you suggest they do? As a body of people they've been totally betrayed by 'their' party (assuming that most voted lib dem due to their (lib dem's) targeting of that demographic with their election pledges).

I fully support the protests. I attended the stop the war protests against the iraq invasion. 1 Million people in non violent protest... did nothing. Can't help but think what could have been done if a few windows were broken back then!

  • nothing?

  • OK, so they look like dickheads but they've just busted into Tory party HQ through the window.

I thought they look pretty funny - just young lads posing for their mates.

Seriously though, yesterday was awesome. It's about time someone got annoyed at our new overlords. I'm just annoyed that I went 'A to B march, not worth bothering with' and then had to leg it down once I saw it on tv :(

  • Probably (nothing - re iraq demonstrations) as that decision was already made, but it may have had an impact on future ones. As Graeme_ mentioned earlier there comes a point where these politicians will begin to thing that they need to be more careful in the decisions that they make.

Two political parties have lost an entire generation of voters thanks to tuition fees; this has just been pointed out to them and will of course make a significant difference to their future policy / strategy.

  • nothing?

...accept falling into a deep chasm of irony

  • Not enough wall space for racks. Fucking washing machine still doesn't work.. can I pull 3 strikes and you're out and just have them replace the fucking thing? Hotpoint can suck my plums.

    Dirty protest? Pun intended ;)

  • **BRITAIN BACKS MIDDLE CLASS CHILDREN WHO WANT THE MOON ON A STICK **

10-11-10 BRITAIN today threw its weight behind middle class children who deserve everything handed to them on a plate because they're all so very special.

    ** **
    We're lucky to have them

As spoiled young people who think they know everything attacked the police, across the country millions of ordinary workers cheered them on and said they were the best people in the world.

In central London, more than 50,000 lazy, pretentious, self-absorbed protesters said it was vital for Britain's future that the cost of their education should not be allowed to eat into their handsome, white collar salaries and their capacity to pay for shitty, new world music and holidays in the less touristy parts of Italy.

The protest had already attracted widespread support even before the middle class youngsters had injured some policeman, broken some windows and frightened dozens of people who had been working since nine o'clock this morning instead of watching* Cash in the Attic* or asking their parents for an increased limit on their credit cards.

Meanwhile prime minister David Cameron has cut short his visit to China and is flying back to the UK so that he can meet with the middle class children and apologise for threatening to make their adult lives very, very slightly less affluent.

The prime minister's spokesman said: "They are heroes, plain and simple. I could try and condemn them for injuring policemen and damaging private property, but it would be a transparent lie.

"We're now going to let them run the country for the next two years because they're so clever and special and they know how everything works."

Roy Hobbs, an ambulance driver from Grantham, said the lazy, middle class children who think they are brilliant had inspired him to have a lie in tomorrow before quitting his job, taking someone else's money and then punching a policeman if anyone objected.

He added: "I would go down to London and join them if only I was as wise and clever as they are.

"I'm not fit to lick the boots their parents bought them."

    • **Malaysian **Rich, someone has to stand up to this Tory goverment and their reforms. £9000 fees for students? that were below £3000 before? Are you kidding me, not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth and a daddy to pay for them to go to eaton. The government is taking the piss and things are going to get harder and harder for the everyday joe like me and you. the rich will stay rich and we'll get poorer. I don't condone the violent acts, but come on, 200 students storming tory headquarters? I say well done to them for doing something.Peer into the depths

    • **Malaysian ** ‎"I don't condone the violent acts" as i originally said.

If anyone needs to get real, it's this mickey mouse government. and there's no denying it. For so long britain has been one of the few countries not to demonstrate, or riot, just to go along and take it. stiff upper lip etc.

The goverment seems to have little appreciation for the everyday person and the position we're in. Look at France. They demonstrate, riot etc and their government respects them. Maybe we need to take a leaf out of their book.Peer into the depths

love the "half of them carnt even spell..." jesus

  • a message got sent
im really quite proud of students
(also i was in the HQ "brap brap etc")

  • Well done. I'm sure attacking the Coppers, damaging innocent people's property and putting them in danger will really make the Government change their mind.

  • Worked for the poll tax.

  • Nice one Crumb, passionate protest is what's needed to make the cunts listen. Keep at em.
