• Hi everyone,
I’ve just sorted out another lot of interesting and bargain frames together with large budget bike. Shipping on frames within the UK will be £11 - other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.

    ALL ITEMS ARE IN BRISTOL

Unless specifically described I do not guarantee headsets or BBs which are fitted to frames. With all frames I can fit headsets or BBs - headset fitting costs £12; please see my latest headset thread:

    http://www.lfgss.com/thread53572.html

for details of what is available.

Payment can be via bank transfer (preferred), cheque or the dreaded Paypal which costs me 3%…

** If you dib an item, please PM me and pay the same day unless you make other arrangements with me. Otherwise it may well be sold to the next person who wants it...**

Viewing/Personal collection is welcome as quite a few have found and have been able to get other parts they are looking for at the same time.

    HOLDSWORTH SPECIAL FRAME c1982
    Seat Tube (ctt): 19.5in (50cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 20.75in (52.5cm)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
The Special was Holdsworth’s model designed for both racing or training with capacity for mudguards with 25mm 700C tyres. This frame is in very sound condition though it has a small dent to the top tube. The paint has been scorched on the head tube when a stuck handlebar stem was removed.. It would make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion. £95

BARRON CYCLOCROSS FRAME late 1980s also suitable for touring
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
    Wheel size: Sprints/700C
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C tubing
This is a very nice cyclocross frame in very sound condition - the paint is generally excellent with only a few small marks. Cable routing is along the top of the top tube. Barron was a well respected frame builder from near Lincoln - I have had several exceptionally nice Barron frames through my hands over the past three years. £145

    WOODRUP ROAD FRAME c1985 25in
    Seat Tube (ctt): 63.5cm (25in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 58cm (23in)
    Rear dropout width: 128mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 46mm)
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
    Seatpost size: 27.0mm
Road frames as large as this are really rather uncommon - this Woodrup built one from the mid 1980s is really rather nice. Its paint is in very useable condition though does have quite a number of marks. £145

TEAM BRITE MICRO LO-PRO TT FRAME Reynolds 853 c1998 built by Paul Donohue
    Ex Chris Newton
    Seat Tube (ctt): 44.5cm (17.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 52cm (20.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
    Wheel size: 700C
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 853
This frame is an ex Team Brite micro lo-pro frame that was ridden by Chris Newton around 1998 and is beautifully built from Reynolds 853 tubing. Paul Donohue’s works built all the Team Brite frames and they employed a tig welder who was truly superb - in my opinion he was just as good as the tig welders at Merlin who I had seen working back in 1994. Its a really gorgeous frame which would equate to about a conventional 21.5 in road frame and is designed for use with a long aero seatpost and aero bars of course. It comes complete as shown in the photos with its original bladed carbon fibre forks. £195

    BRIAN ROURKE ROAD FRAME c1996
    Seat Tube (ctt): 20.5in (52cm)
    Top Tube (ctc): 20.75in (52.5cm)
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
    Wheel size: 700C
Brake drop with 700C/Sprint wheel: 42mm
    Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531C
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
Brian Rourke framesets were and some I believe are still produced in their own workshop by Paul Washington - this frame features his very distinctive and special wrap over seat stays. And has hardly been used - the kit that was taken off looked as if it had not done 100 miles... The paint is truly excellent with just a couple of small chips. This frame I think dates from the middle/late 1990s. I was very impressed by Paul Washington’s workshop when I visited about 12 years ago and his frames are really rather special. £163

PAUL HEWITT ROAD FRAME c1989 ** NEW AND UNUSED**
    Seat Tube (ctt): 51cm (20.25in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56.25cm (22.25in)
    Rear dropout width: 130mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
    Frame tubing: Columbus Neuron
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This is a really nice Paul Hewitt road frame that has never been built up or used - however the paint is has numerous scratches from being in poor storage. There are however no dents or dings I could find. Columbus Neuron tubing was close to the top of their tubing range in the 1990s and makes for for an excellent stiff and light frame. This frame has vertical dropouts so would not be ideal for use as a conversion. £95

ORBIT GOLD MEDAL TOURING FRAME 1985
    Seat Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 56cm (22in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C with brake drop of 58mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 531C
    Seatpost size: 27.2mm
This Orbit Gold Medal touring frame dates from 1985 is in very sound condition - the paint is generally excellent with just a little rust staining and few marks. Orbit Gold Medals were highly rated touring frames in the 1980s. £89

CLAUD BUTLER COMPETITOR ROAD FRAME c1979
    Seat Tube (ctt): 56cm (22in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 55cm (21.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 124mm
Wheel size: 700C (brake drop 45mm)
    Seatpost size: 26.4mm
    Frame Tubing: Reynolds 531
This Claud Butler road frame from the late 1970s is in very nice condition with paint in extremely useable condition. It will make a very easy fixed or singlespeed conversion and is close clearance. £79

RALEIGH 501 ROAD FRAME 1988 ** NEW AND UNUSED**
    Seat Tube (ctt): 59cm (23.5in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57cm (22.5in)
    Rear dropout width: 125mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 45mm)
    Seatpost size: 27.0mm
    Frame tubing: Reynolds 501
Raleigh 501 road frames are really rather nicely built and this is a rather cool frame ideal for fixed or singlespeed conversion. It is brand new and never been used though there are one or two small shopwear marks, none of which are obtrusive. £95

    SHORTER ROAD FRAME c1976/77
    Seat Tube (ctt): 61cm (24in)
    Top Tube (ctc): 57.5cm (22.75in)
    Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: Sprints/700C (brake drop 50mm)
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 double butted
    Seatpost size: 27.0mm
This Shorter frame dates from the second half of the 1970s and has been nicely repainted and not used since. It has one small chip to the paint on the top tube but appears practically unmarked elsewhere. Good quality large frames such as this are not common and it would make a cool fixed or singlespeed conversion. £125
