I was watching a DVD last night - the making of Mastadon's 'Crack The Skye' album. One of the member of the band makes the following observation which seemed about right to me...

"I'll tell you what - I am over the ironic moustache. I'm over it. I'm sick of it. It's like everyone has one. 'Hey, look at me, I'm a jackass! I look like a rapist!' Is that cool?"

I seem to remember insulting a member of Mastodon with a moustache based jibe back when I had handlebars...
