  • since mdcc_tester haven't responded yet, I'll tell you that bullhorns are the bars designed for lo-pro bikes, and the hand position is pretty much similar to riding drops on a bike with regular geometry. By using stem which would be parallel to the ground, and not squashing it all the way in you could achieve more or less ridable position on tops. IME...

    Thanks for the advice. I've got some chopped and flipped drops I could probably use, and I've got a quill stem as well.

    I assumed that too, but actually with a 24" front wheel, your much better off with LA84s as you feel like you're falling off the front of the bike with risers... I did anyway! its a pretty extreme riding position, and not great for going up hills, but if you're going for a lo-pro you might as well go the whole hog!

    Yeah, I thought that might be a problem. It actually came with two 700c tubs, so the frame is made for two 700c but I think I'll sell them on here, because I'd rather have clinchers for around London.

    When I get a second, I'll try and post some pictures in current projects.
