Agreed, plus if you're having those brake levers on the drops, only one looks ridiculous (as does a fake one with no cable) in my eyes.
I know it's your opinion, (and I'm partly taking issue because it's the setup I have), but I struggle to see how 2 levers and no rear brake looks ridiculous. Plenty of bikes run the rear cable on the left, so it's only the rear caliper you're missing...and I just can't imagine it standing out that much.
fwiw I also like single levers, only really on old skool bikes (pre-70s or so), and with non-aero cable routing...and preferably gum/tan hoods.

...well because usually when people ride fixed, they loose the rear brake. Which you well know.
