For Sale: Mavic Ceramic SUPs on Hope Hubs

Mavic SUP Ceramic rims 32hole.
Hope hubs with DT swiss spokes.
Campagnolo (Record?) skewers.
Campag (8 speed?) Lock ring and Michelin tyres that have seen very little use but are cracking on the surface included.

All in exceptional condition, not cleaned for photos either...

Very expensive high spec Mavic rims that perform as well in the wet as the dry. Fairly rare and high quality Hope hubs, the ones with the clicky freewheel. All mid 90's.

Bit of confusion over the freehub fit as before removing the cassette it was certainly running what looked to be Campagnolo eight speed, even had the Campag locking ring, which is included in the sale. Both the single speed Campag kits I bought (a 9/10 speed conversion, then an eight speed conversion kit) don't fit and it sure looks like a standard Shimano fit now the cassette is off... Sorry I don't have spare Shimano cassettes to check the fit so please have a look at the detailed pics here and decide for yourselves.

that's a Campag freehub as the splines are all the same size, Shimano has a series of odd size splines- ie very different

Yes these rims were about £85 each when new. They were a 'best' wheelset from a very fancy Colnago that was absolute top spec in its day and dry use only!
