  • Hmmm yes. I've got to deliver a CD to a client soon. Not looking forward to leaving the house...

  • I kinda miss the little impromptu pelatons along Kingsland Road myself. But enjoy the increased number of gaps between stopped cars. Swings and roundabouts I suppose.

  • There were still quite a few cyclists south of the river this morning...

  • stands behind teenslain (on a box) making jabby finger pointy motion
    yeah!

  • was going to ride in today, but thought better of it, as i don't have access to my wet weather gear and my jeans are still wet from riding home on friday...
    back on the bike tomorrow...
miserable, miserable weather, though have enjoyed, the last couple of crisp frosty evenings, makes the late night roll home, massively enjoyable..

  • Just went to get the bike out - gust of wind so strong that it blew me right back into the house onto the sofa with a hot coffee in my hand. Amazing.

  • yesterday = crisp cold autumnal day - lovely
today = very cold shitty rain - As conerlius said - miserable

  • ^ Let's see, I think I can count three pussies... Yup, that's three alright... ;]

  • it's the fucking rapture out there. is this on the menu for the rest of the week?

  • My favourite bit about this mornings ride was watching a brompton rider draft a Boris Biker because of the wind. Slowest. Groupetto. Ever.

You townies don't even know you're born. Would blow your Muji Designer handbag clean off your puff shoulder Superdry down here.

  • If I'm on a bicycle I smile whatever the weather..

  • it's the fucking rapture out there. is this on the menu for the rest of the week?

Yup... I'm wearing my fucking Red Wings tomorrow... Tbh, I wish I had some wellies... :[

  • If I'm on a bicycle I smile whatever the weather..

If your smiling, your doing it wrong....

    GGRRRRRRR.

  • If anything I'm glad it's cold enough to not sweat horribly in waterproofs, unlike last week.

  • I enjoyed a steady 15-20mph tailwind all the way in today; 9 miles of slightly soggy riding bliss.

Riding over Waterloo Bridge in complete silence not even disturbed by wind rushing in my ears was great. Looking at the southbound carriageway and the poor sods giving me a preview of journey home, not so much.

And Endura MTB500 overshoes are amazing.

  • Wet arse this morning, pretty much from the off. Really need to get that commuter bike finished off.

  • If your smiling, your doing it wrong ...

If you're spelling 'you're' in this way here, you're doing it wrong. :)

  • damn right dude!
i'm a southie. but i still only saw about 1 or 2 out there my whole ride peckham --> soho.
nice to know we don't wimp out in the face of some wetness...

There were still quite a few cyclists south of the river this morning...

  • Rubbish.. I love pain. The more it hurts the bigger I smile.

  • ^
    boast post.

  • you want some Damo?

  • I was on the bike this morning, as always, sans wet weather gear, as always. Couldn't call it fun, but still preferable to anything else

note to self - buy appropriate gear, a.s.a.f.p

  • i don't mind getting wet as long as i'm warm
put the bib on today for the first time this year
