A boasting thread? Or the one about foot retention.

Couple of low quality pics of lotarckdem which is plodding along slowly and expensively. Still need to do the research to find who made the frame so i can get it refinished at argos.
All the TA parts are polished and ready to go, still need to decide on saddles and hopefully swap the 3ttt bars for cinelli to match stems.
Wheels are campy/summit, pro3s wont be staying and logos need polishing off the cheap as chips seatposts.
if anyone knows anything about the frame please let me know, when i know the builder it'll be repainted a couple of shades darker, more a phonebox red as its a bit orangy at the mo.

Incidentally that what all the part came from, he's looking for some Mavic Ellipse to replace the wheel as we speak.
ironically very heavy with all those component.
I'll try and send him down to South Beer for you to have a good grilling at.

Looks fuckin shite.
White wheels, budget cranks, sit up and beg position, BMX brake lever??
Ah just read that all the parts are from a Charge Plug. Still, drilled fork?! :-)

• #36610
I know!! it was really scary watching him drill it.
-
• #36611
I suppose he can do what he wants, it's not like its the only BMC TRC01 in the world and if it's drilled it means he'll ride it.

O rly?
http://velospace.org/node/14468OK, so not drilled the stock fork, but then drilling the stock fork was always going to be the cheapskates way out of buying a road EC90 to go with their BMC

Got some ITM anatomica bars, an ITM 'big one' stem and some dura-ace levers. Wrapped it up in Bontrager gel cork tape this afternoon. Is it wrong to leave the currently useless lever on so I can ride the hoods?

No, but it would be even better to hook it up to a rear calliper since it's there anyway.
-
• #36618
That BMC just looks wrong, if fact it looks like somebody won the frame in a competition and has tried to create a build with it.
FAIL - start again

Blatant Moneyed Cunt
-
• #36620
He work in Evans, he get a discount for the frame, I doubt he's loaded with lots of spare money.

I have both brake hoods on my old bike and I rode brakeless.
extra hand position's worth it.

I never try an leave negative comments about builds especially with some of the shit I have built but that BMC is just so freaking wrong.

• #36624

I could make it look nice in the meantime just taken this on the track first ime I have ever ridden a disc felt great I need a tri spoke now and think I will chop the steerer now it feels about right height.
